DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Peyton Bennetts (Sacred Heart, So., D, South Lyon, Mich.)

Bennetts played a crucial role in Sacred Heart’s defense during two shutouts against Assumption in a home-and-home series. She assisted on the game-winning goal with under 30 seconds left on Friday in a 1-0 victory and helped secure a clean sheet on Saturday, blocking four shots and limiting Assumption to just 14 shots on goal.
