PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Emilie Prive (Franklin Pierce, F, So., Morrisville, Vt.)
Prive scored the game-winning goal in the second period of Saturday’s 4-2 victory over Union, the first for Franklin Pierce over an ECAC Hockey opponent. She ranks second on the team in point scoring with seven goals and as many assists for 14 points (7-7=14).

 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Alexandrea Bednar (Post, F, Fr., Vita, Manitoba, Canada) Bednar blocked 10 shots for the Post women’s ice hockey team in its narrow 4-2 loss at Dartmouth on Saturday. She has posted 27 blocked shots on the season, leading the team.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Suzette Faucher (Franklin Pierce, G, So., Middleton, Wis.)
Faucher produced a .915 save percentage this past week, stopping 54-of-59 shots in a pair of appearances. Made 36 stops against 38 shots in a 4-2 victory over Union, the team’s first against an ECAC Hockey institution. She began her week with 18 saves on 21 shots in relief against Dartmouth on Tuesday.

Angeline Pitter (Post, D, Fr., Calgary, Alberta, Canada)
Pitter scored her first collegiate goal against Dartmouth on Saturday in her team’s narrow 4-2 loss at Dartmouth. Pitter has produced 19 blocked shots on the year for the Eagles.
