PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Jeannie Wallner (LIU, F, Jr., Kings Park, N.Y.)
Wallner tallied four multi-point games including a hat trick against Saint Michael's on Feb. 16. She led the NEWHA in points (14, 3.56 per game) goals (9, 1.0 per game) and was tied for second in the league in assists (five) in February. Five of Wallner's nine goals in the month were game-winners, helping LIU to a perfect 9-0 mark in February.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Emma Mortl (LIU, D, So., Graz, Styria, Austria)
Mortl finished second in the league in points by a defender in February, logging five assists. She also did not commit a penalty over the team's nine games and had a plus-10 on-ice rating, third-best in the league.

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH
Jill Hertl (Franklin Pierce, So., G, Highland Park, Ill.)
Hertl went 4-1-1 in net for the Ravens in February. In her six games in net, Hertl registered two shutouts and made 208 saves. Her 0.99 goals-against average was tops in the league for the month as was her .972 save percentage. Her 208 saves (34.67 per game) also ranked in the top three among NEWHA netminders.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH
Courtney Stagman (Saint Anselm, G, Fr., Andover, Minn.)
Stagman, a repeat NEWHA Rookie of the Month selection, finished the month with a 4-3 record, making 148 saves. Stagman recorded a 1.44 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage for the month of February. She also posted a 27-save performance and earned the shutout victory 2-0 against Saint Michael's on Feb. 9.
