PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Natalie Tulchinsky (Saint Anselm, F, Jr., Clifton Park, N.Y.)
Scored twice for the Hawks against LIU on Friday to fuel a 3-2 victory over the Sharks in the series opener. She began the game with a power play marker just 7:42 into the contest before burying the game-winning goal in the final three minutes of regulation time.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Paula Bergström (LIU, D, Jr., Örnsköldsvik, Sweden)
Helped the Sharks to a split at Saint Anselm, blocking three shots and adding an assist on Saturday’s insurance goal near the midpoint of the third period. LIU recorded its second shutout in as many games on Saturday, blanking the Hawks by a 2-0 score at Sullivan Arena.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Tindra Holm (LIU, G, So., Skellefteå, Sweden)
Totaled 47 saves on 50 shots, leading all NEWHA netminders last week with a .940 save percentage in a split at Saint Anselm. Made 18 saves against the Hawks on Friday before producing a 29-save shutout on Saturday, her team’s second clean sheet in its last three games.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alexis Petford (Stonehill, F, Fr., Balgonie, Saskatchewan, Canada)
Scored her fifth goal of the season on Friday with just 90 seconds left in regulation time, forcing overtime against Brown. Also had a hand in the game-tying goal earlier in the period as the Skyhawks earned a 2-2 overtime draw against the Bears.
