PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gracie Sacca (Stonehill, F, Fr., Manotick, Ontario, Canada)
Sacca posted two goals and an assist for Stonehill across two games versus Post. In Friday’s matchup with the Eagles, Sacca scored not only her first collegiate goal, but it was also the Skyhawks’ first-ever game-winning goal in which Stonehill topped Post in overtime. In Saturday’s contest, Sacca scored one of three Stonehill power-play goals.

Across a 1-1 week for Sacred Heart, Guidi blocked three shots and compiled a plus-two on-ice rating. She also contributed offensively in a big way, assisting three goals on Tuesday against Post. Guidi is now a four-time winner of NEWHA Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Elmore picked up her first victory of the season for the Pioneers on Tuesday, Oct. 4, making 12 saves against Post on the way to victory. She leads the team with a .937 save percentage to date and has made 59 saves across two games.

In Abramson’s first collegiate start, she made 20 saves and earned her first collegiate win against Sacred Heart on Friday. 11 of her 20 saves came during the third period as the Sharks held off a fast-charging Sacred Heart squad for a 4-3 victory at home.
