In her team’s season-opening games at Saint Michael’s this past weekend, Browning scored two goals and added an assist for three points (2-1=3) to help Post log a split against the Purple Knights. She scored a power-play marker on Friday before assisting the game-winning goal and adding the empty-net tally in a 2-0 win.

Making her collegiate debut at Saint Michael’s on Saturday, Saunders posted a 34-save shutout over the Purple Knights to help her team to a 2-0 victory. Saunders logged 15 saves in the second period alone and faced three Saint Michael’s power plays in the win.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Elisabeth Gerebi (Saint Michael’s, F, Fr., Victoria, Minn.)
Gerebi scored the game-winning goal in her collegiate debut on Friday while winning 52.2% of her faceoffs (12-for-23) in a weekend series with Post. In a 6-2 win on Friday, Gerebi potted the winner at 15:09 of the second period while going 6-for-11 on draws. She added a 6-for-12 faceoff effort in a 2-0 loss on Saturday.
