PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Anna Klein (Sacred Heart, F, Sr., St. Paul, Minn.)
Klein logged three goals and three assists for the Pioneers, helping Sacred Heart to back-to-back wins over Saint Michael’s on Friday and Saturday. She logged a hat trick on Friday before setting up three of her team’s six goals on Saturday. She leads the NEWHA in point scoring (8-11=19).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nicole Guidi (Sacred Heart, D, Sr., Melville, N.Y.)
Guidi logged two assists on Friday against Saint Michael’s before scoring twice against the Purple Knights on Saturday, giving the senior two goals and two assists for four points (2-2=4) on the weekend. Guidi and Sacred Heart also posted their fourth shutout of the season on Friday.

GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Tindra Holm (LIU, G, Fr., Skelleftea, Sweden)
Holm backstopped the Sharks to back-to-back victories over Saint Anselm, making 25 saves on 26 shots on Friday against the Hawks before stopping 35-of-37 pucks on Saturday. She finished the two-game series with 60 saves, giving up just three goals for a .950 save percentage.

Jeannie Wallner (LIU, F, Fr., Kings Park, N.Y.)
Wallner set up three goals and scored one of her own against Saint Anselm last week, helping the Sharks extend their winning streak to eight games. On Friday, she assisted two of her team’s five goals (including the game-winner) and scored once before setting up the first goal of the game on Saturday.
